Практическая ценность сомнительна. В политику идут люди, которые на уровне подкорки понимают, что нужно делать, чтобы протыриться наверх. Теория тут мало помогает.

Именно. Неспроста широко распространено мнение о том, что в политике нет порядочных людей. Путь туда сопряжён с необходимостью владения навыками, которые в приличном обществе заведомо не считаются приличными.

Way too many flows in original paper. First (and foremost) why the death rates (especially the ones among 0-15 age group) deemed to be more important then. let's say transportation (or the lack of thereof), "an immigration policy" (read both invasions, wars or quests during the periods of agricultural disasters?
